What is Die phantastische Reise nach Terra-Gon (The fantastic journey to Terra-Gon)?

The fantastic journey to Terra-Gon takes place in 2442 at which time a comet unorbits Earth and makes it drift towards the sun.  Life is almost entirely extinguished on Earth due to the extreme heat.  The only people who managed to survive took shelter in underground bunkers.  The only way to save Earth from the inevitable contact with the sun is within reach of Professor Oman Tempel who has invented a time machine, which can take you back to an old African tribe which presumably had contact with aliens.  Aliens technology might save us all.
