What is Texture Scroller?

With the general Control Panel, you can select from several patterns (or edit them) to be displlayed on your macintosh desktop.  However, this simple control panel can only manipulate patterns that are exactly eight by eight pixels in size and are composed of exactly 8 colors.  The Desktop Texture installer allows you to surpass these limits.

Use this program to install various textures on your Macintosh desktop. You can also open and install textures from other resource files, or create your own desktop patterns from any PICT!

The deinstall texture option can even revert your wallpaper to the default dithered grey pattern where the recent Desktop Patterns panel can not.

3 texture packs are included, open these instead of the Installer directly.
