What is Formac Disc Management Software?

The current version of the Formac Manager is 6.1.5 and has the following properties
- Format and initialize hard disks
- Create volumes
- Transparent compression of volumes with a factor of 2, i.e.
double storage space available (full version only)
- Extended data security through optional encryption of
Volumes (full version only)
- Volumes can be protected against unauthorized mounting (password)
- Volumes can be protected against writing
- Mounting of subsequently inserted removable disks (VolumeMounter control field)
- Update the driver software
- Native code for the PowerPC
- Support for Apple SCSI Manager 4.3
- Fast response times even with newly created volumes
- Dialog for recording unknown hard disks (full version only)
