What is Quick Rename 2.0?

Quick Rename is a utility designed to allow users to quickly and easily rename large batches of files. QR offers a multitude of features, including:

• Re-ordering files 

• Padding files to retain their order 

• Replacing letters or words with a specified string 

• Appending specified information

You select only the files you want with the filtering method of your choice. In addition, 'safe mode' allows you to preview a rename before execution.

With QR you can:

• Rename batches of files with a single button. 

• Drag & Drop files and folders. 

• Recursively search sub-folders (See Registration Info). 

• Reorder files incrementally -- this supports decreasing value, 

   starting at a set value, or skipping by a specified number. 

• 'Pad' files to allow them to sort properly. 

• Easily replace a word or letter with another. 

• Filter files by the following methods: 

      - Even, odd, all, or none of the files 

      - Created Date & Time or Modified Date & Time 

      - Use the auto skipping feature to skip x number of times 

      - Mac Creator / Type 

      - MS-DOS Suffix (if it exists) 

      - File Size

• Append file information (before or after), including: 

      - Specified Text 

      - Current Date or Time 

      - Created Date & Time or Modified Date & Time 

      - Mac Creator / Type 

      - MS-DOS Suffix (if it exists) 

      - File Size 

      - Ordered number 

      - Folder name

• Force the filename to uppercase, lowercase, or titlecase 

• Trim the file name 

• Preview the results before renaming 

• Log all activity 

• Password protect 

• Save file information to a text file or export it to a delimited format
