What is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King?

In the wake of the Sunwell's purification, a period of suspicious quiet had swept over the world. As if on cue, the undead Scourge launched a massive assault against the cities and towns of Azeroth, this time extending its reach far beyond the Eastern Kingdoms. Under pressure to respond with a full army, Warchief Thrall deployed an expedition force to Northrend led by Overlord Garrosh Hellscream. Meanwhile, the missing human king Varian Wrynn at last returned to Stormwind City and reclaimed his crown. He sent an equally powerful Alliance army, commanded by Bolvar Fordragon, to defeat the Lich King—and any Horde forces who would stand in their way.

Compatibility notes

The first file is the original WOTLK install DVD, this is an enGB Installer. If you have the enUS Wrath install DVD please upload it here. This DVD will not work with the enUS Patches.

 

UPDATE: In order to patch to 3.3.5a you must first install World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade from the enGB archives available, you will not need to apply any patches to these. After installing the enGB vanilla and TBC client, you will install the enUS Wrath of the Lich King expansion image from Archive.org using disk image mounting utility only, this will not mount the HFS partition with toast. After installing Wrath you will need to do all of the incremental updates here except for the last one. The last file says it is 3.2.2a to 3.3.0 but that patch is missing and instead there is a folder with patches for 3.2.2 to 3.3.0. I did not test if the 3.2.2 to 3.3.0 patch works as I already ran the 3.2.2 to 3.2.2a before i found it was missing 3.2.2a to 3.3.0. I was able to find the missing patch, so I am leaving the 3.2.2 to 3.3.0 patch utility in case it works, located at the bottom of the patches. Take note private servers may block Mac OS X clients due to custom anti-cheat engines which do not work on OSX.
