What is Nokia Photo Transfer?

Nokia Photo Transfer for Mac is a free app that connects your Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 with your Mac OS computer, and helps you transfer photos and videos between the two. The app is only available in English.

  • Connect your Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 with your Mac OS computer, and transfer photos and videos between the two
  • Transfer normal photos and videos, as well as special types of photos and videos taken with Nokia Camera, Nokia Pro Camera, Nokia Smart Camera, Nokia Cinemagraph, or SmartShoot
  • If your phone supports Digital Negative (DNG) capture, you can also transfer DNG photo files from your phone to your Mac for further editing
  • Supported Mac operating systems: 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), and 10.9 (Mavericks)
  • Supported file formats: .jpg, .npo, .nar, .mp4, and .dng

This is the photo transfer app for Mac computers to transfer picture files to a Mac from Nokia phones such as the Lumia 1020.

Microsoft bought out Nokia and then blocked all sources for apps like these by  the end of 2016.

Does anyone have the upgrade, which can transfer audio and other files from Nokia phones?
