What is Pyramid Solitaire? A simple Pyramid Solitaire game by Glenn Seemann, published by Varcon Systems and also bearing the MacSoft logo. Game has limited customizability, only allowing the player to change the available background for the table. The object in Pyramid Solitaire is to pair cards that total 13, removing them from the table. Aces are worth 1, and face cards 11-13, respectively. Kings, worth 13, can be removed on their own. Play begins with a 28-card pyramid placed on the table, where only the exposed cards at the bottom can be played. As cards are removed, new cards are exposed for play. In addition to these cards, the player can draw a "stock" card from the deck, but if a new card is drawn, the old stock card is moved to the "wastepile," and only the topmost (most recent) card in the wastepile can be played. To win the game with a full score of 52, the player must eliminate the entire pyramid, stock and wastepile. Not all games are winnable. Download Pyramid Solitaire for Mac
