What is MacLHA 2.x?

MacLHA is a program that allows you to compress, extract, and modify LHA compressed archives. It is compatible with LHA, LHarc, and LArc. Using MacBinary, it is able to handle both data and resource forks of Macintosh files, though LHA programs on other platforms are not likely to be able to handle this correctly. Unfortunately, it sometimes has issues extracting files from archives with subdirectories created by LHarc. LHA was popular on the Commodore Amiga and MS-DOS. Even after it lost favour with most computer users, it continued to be commonly used in Japan.
