What is Take a Letter?

The majority of shareware authors usually put a MacWrite, MS Word, or text file containing documentation along with their application.  These files, usually packed together or bin hexed, then travel out over the phone lines through BBSs, reaching many users/potential buyers.  And upon reaching their destination, almost universally, once unpacked, comes the response; "Rats!  I need MacWrite/Edit/QUED/Word to see what this program with the neat icon does."

"Take a Letter" strives to put an end to this teeth gnashing.  It is a document maker that allows you to create double clickable, stand alone applications that display text.  The text can be scrolled through, printed, and even turned into a "text" document that can be edited.

"Take a Letter" isn't just for software developers alone.  It can be used by a variety of folks for a variety of purposes.  Some examples are:

Send disk letters to your friends.
E-Mail your resume off to a potential employer.
     Create your own newsletters.
Give tests and study guides to your students.

Anything you normally would need a word processor to display, can be presented with "Take a Letter."
