What is DeepTrouble 2?

The year is 2268. After a slow recovery of ecological disasters and alien invasions of Earth the human race is exploring the galaxy to expand their living space. The player has been sent to investigate planet Gunsar436, but suddenly all contact between the player and their fleet is gone. The player controls their ship via keyboard and progresses through 11 levels by destroying alien ships and completing different missions. Long levels are divided by checkpoints preceding major conflict zones. Destroyed alien vessels provide the player with more ammo and, by exploring their surroundings, players can find shields, energy, and other bonuses.
