What is Internet Explorer 5.x?

Internet Explorer 5.0 was the best/most compatible web browser for classic Mac OS in the year 2000. Version 5.1.7 from 2003 is the last release to support Mac OS 9. Next ones were for Mac OS X only. Internet Explorer came installed from Apple by default with Mac OS 9.

Hack: Officially, it requires Mac OS 8.1 or newer, but if you install Apperance Manager v1.0.4 under Mac OS 7.6.1 it will run!
