What is Virtual Drummer?

Easily create drum patterns by using the General MIDI drum sounds.
Virtual Drummer is a minimalistic step sequencer, geared towards making drum patterns only.
It can open drum MIDI files to edit, and it can export your creations as MIDI files.
Great for doing rhythm practice in a distraction-free environment, or for composing drum part drafts that you intend to evolve into something serious.


Because MIDI is still the standard in all electronic music today, you can load those Virtual Drummer exported MIDI files to some actual music production software later (vintage or modern, Mac or Windows), and turn the MIDI draft into a serious drum beat with carefully crafted sound design.
