Richard Scarry's Busytown (1999) is an interactive story book where players explore and play fun activities with Huckle the cat and Lowly the worm usually as the crusors.
Activities around town includes:
- Building the House - help Huckle build the house for a family of rabbits and learn the names and functions of the different parts!
- Bruno's Deli - Bruno leaves his deli to Huckle as he went out, help Huckle serve the customers according to their orders!
- The Gas Station - Huckle and Lowly decides to stop by the gas station to help out, give the customers their preferred gas or help them fix their vehicles so that they're ready to hit the road again!
- Dr. Diane - Lowly visits the clinic only to find Dr. Diane's patient not feeling well... help her place the bandages on the spots that needs to be healed!
- The Delivery Truck - drive around Busytown and deliver specific items to their respective receivers!
- The Fire Station - Oh no! Help load the firetruck and quickly rush to the house that is on fire!
- Captain Salty - Learn the different parts of a ship as you help Captain Salty put his ship together!
- The Wind - play as the wind and see what fun things he can do at the beacha and the ocean!
- BusyTunes - play the jingles and songs, then watch the animations as the town comes to life!
- Mr. Fixit - help Mr. Fixit put this invention together, and maybe even get a cup of hot chocolate when he's done!
- The See-Saw - balance the characters on the see-saw so that they don't outweigh one another!
This game requires players to read and listen as much as possible to understand the instructions and learn.
