What is Macromedia Afterburner for Director 4?

Macromedia Afterburner is a post processor compression utility that compresses your Director files by approximately 60 percent, keeping their sizes small for optimal download times. As a result, some Shockwave files may be smaller than the original static graphics used in most Web sites today.
