The System Software on the Macintosh II, IIx, IIcx, and SE/30 is unable to access more than 8 MB RAM. By using either MODE32 or Apple's 32-Bit System Enabler, the affected machines can properly address additional memory.
MODE32 v1.2 does not work well with System 7.5. Connectix has specifically stated that MODE32 v7.5 should by used with System 7.5 or later, and v1.2 should be used with versions prior to System 7.5.
