What is McCAD PCB Design?

McCAD allows a personal or industrial user to create computer-assisted, circuitboard artwork on a Macintosh via mouse or graphics tablet.

Output can be produced on either an Apple Imagewriter printer, LaserWriter printer, or ink plotter.

This is one of four packages that were available (schematic entry, PCB layout, analog/digital simulator, and graphics editor).

Compatibility notes

Original disk is a System 2.0 boot disk with MFS filesystem.

Tested to run on up to System 6.0.8 on vMac, but it hangs on system 7+


Emulating this? It could probably run under: Mini vMac
