What is Ambiance?

Ambiance is a nice utility application that plays sounds in the background while you work and it uses almost no resource at all (100KB of RAM).  It comes with 7 sound collections each containing several sound effects:

- Babbling Brook
- Fireplace
- Illness
- Surf
- Swamp
- Thunderstorm
- "Tweety" Sounds

Ambiance lets you set a default sound collection or a randomize option so that every time you launch it, Ambiance starts to play automatically.  You can also set one of the 3 sound volume levels or mute it temporarily.  One nice way to utilize Ambiance is to place an alias in the startup items folder in the System Folder, so that it starts playing every time you boot up your Mac.
