SoundWave is an application for Compact Macintosh computers that allows them to Playback uncompressed PCM audio files.
In order for the WAV files to be played, you will need to do a bit of prep work. A sound editor such as Audacity should be all you need.
The WAV files MUST be exported with these parameters;
- RAW (Headerless)
- 8-bit Unsigned PCM (Do not use 8-bit Signed PCM. That will result in broken audio.)
- 1 Channel (Mono)
Note: The WAV file you are preparing needs to be less than 3.9 MB in size. (Files are loaded into RAM)
Larger files can be used depending on the amount of System RAM you have available.
