Plates Are People Too

What is Plates Are People Too? Ever wonder what the dishes and plates do after dark? 'Plates Are People Too' is a tale about a fictional town called "Platesville" - where all the different types of plates live together in harmony. ‘Barry Baking Dish’ and the rest of the cupboard crew deal with a vacancy in sleepy Platesville when an upstanding family of plates moves out. Everybody has a different idea of what the new family in the neighbourhood should be like. Barry finds himself playing the role of real estate agent, and finally gives the house to his friends - the Chinese Dish set. The rest of the plates are a little uneasy accepting the newly arrived Chinese Dish set, just because they’re different. Then Mrs. Wang accidently falls and breaks herself, the other plates come to the rescue and everybody understands that all plates are created equal. 'Plates Are People Too' is a tale for both kids and adults which teaches about tolerance of others. The interactive storybook plays well, with its combination of simple language, humour and playful cultural references. Download Plates Are People Too for Mac
