NodeScan Client

(There's no video for NodeScan Client yet. Please contribute to MR and add a video now!)
What is NodeScan Client? NodeScan is a hybrid peer-to-peer/client-server based system which combines the benefits of both kinds of networks. It consists of separate server and client applications. While similar in some ways to Napster, Gnutella and other peer-to-peer based programs, NodeScan goes beyond these applications to provide a platform for a variety of network services.
Download and Installation: The files below are MacBinary encoded disk images (.img). If you use Internet Explorer to download them it will automatically decode the MacBinary encoding. If you use Netscape you may need to drop them on Stuffit Expander. After that double-click them and they should mount on the desktop. Open the mounted disk images and drag the folder inside to your hard disk. (If you drag the disk image itself, the folder will be locked, preventing the programs from working). After downloading the files you may see an error which says: "The ShrinkWrap engine has reported an error (Error -108)". Some versions of Stuffit Expander give this error when trying to mount the disk image on the desktop after expanding the encoded files. If this happens simply double click the ".img" file to mount the disk image on your desktop. The disk image behaves like a (virtual) floppy disk. Open it and drag the contents to your hard disk. The disk image file can then be removed by dragging it to the trash. Download NodeScan Client for Mac
