What is Neopocott 0.4.2?

Neopocott is a Neo Geo Pocket Colour emulator for the Macintosh.

While compatibility is quite limited at present, this emulator is rapidly developing, and hopefully it should run all the available software in the not too distant future. Additional video modes can be added to this emulator via my Blitter Library plugin.

Original Neo Geo Pocket cartridges can be backed up for use on Neopocott with the Pocket Linker 32M Set, available from Lik Sang.

Neopocott was originally developed for Windows by Julien Frelat. Versions for DOS, Amiga, RISC OS, Linux, and other systems are also available.

  • Version 0.4.1 requires CarbonLib 1.2 or later, or Mac OS X.
  • Starting with version 0.4.4, it requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
    • Quartz Extreme compatible AGP graphics card recommended.
  • Starting with version 0.4.8, it requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
