What is IconBuilder Pro? Read the User's Guide and Tutorial in the IconBuilder Pro folder. Both of these files give you the detailed information you'll need to create modern icons for both Mac and Windows. If you are one of those people who hates to read manuals, you need to know a few things before using IconBuilder Pro: • IconBuilder Pro is a Photoshop effects filter. After it is put in your plug-ins folder, you'll see it appear in the Filter menu under "Iconfactory". • When you start IconBuilder Pro, make sure that you're using the IconBuilder Grid.psd file in the Goodies folder as a starting point. The IconBuilder Assistant.atn file can be used to automate the process of creating an icon with Photoshop actions. • IconBuilder Pro starts out with a blank icon grid. Use QuickBuild to create an icon using the selection of the current layer. • There is an IconBuilder Pro FAQ page at the Iconfactory (www.iconfactory.com).
