LiteSwitch X is an incredibly powerful keyboard application switcher for Mac OS X. It offers keyboard switching in a style that blends beautifully with Aqua without compromising features or power. This is the official documentation for LiteSwitch X. It contains a comprehensive summary of the features found in LiteSwitch X, including some hidden pearls.
Installation. To install or remove LiteSwitch X, double click on the Install LiteSwitch X 2.0 icon.
Complete Documentation. The entire LiteSwitch X documentation is built into the software. Just click on the "Documentation" button in the LiteSwitch X preference pane.
What's New? LiteSwitch X 2.0 finally offers the ability to exclude applications from the switcher. It also adds the option to use the ` key (tilde) to move the application selection backwards and disable the graying of hidden applications. Oh, and of course it squashes all previously known bugs.
LiteSwitch X is based on Proteron's freeware and open source application "LiteSwitch" for Mac OS 8/9 and incorporates the latest technologies available to Mac OS X developers. Ammon Skidmore is the lead developer and the design is based on ideas from Ammon and Proteron co-founder Sam Caughron. Adam Astley provides support in many capacities, too numerable to mention. Mat and Neill, late members of the Proteron team, were part of the birth of LiteSwitch X. Though they are no longer active members of the team, they have not been forgotten.
