This Remote Admin acgi allows you to configure a WebSTAR server from a Web browser.

Compatibility notes


Admin.acgi requires AppleScript 1.1 and the following scripting additions:

Decode URL

ACME Replace


in the Scripting Additions subfolder of the Extensions folder. These additions need to be present in order for the admin.acgi to work. If you do not already have these scripting additions, they can be obtained from the following URL:

Admin.acgi will run on a WebSTAR server with at least 200K of memory free.


Drag the admin.acgi file to the WebSTAR folder. Create an "admin" Realm and password with the WebSTAR Admin application.

In your web browser access the admin.acgi script by entering the correct URL to the ACGI. Ex.

When the admin.acgi is invoked it will ask for a name and password.
