What is MacChase? MacChase is a very early B&W PacMan-like game for 1980's Macs without the PacMan graphics. It features an easy to use, point and click, level editor, a highscore list, but super awkward controls that cannot be changed! >.< (You actually have to press together: COMMAND + [I/J/K/L] to move, WTF!?)
Download MacChase for Mac
From Mac OS 1.0 up to Mac OS 7.6 Architecture: 68K System 1.x - Mac OS 7.6 Note: If you run this under Mini vMac, make sure the speed is at 1X or you won't be able to do anything, since this game was designed for a 8mhz CPU, nothing faster. Also, the game editor cannot save properly under anything newer than Mac OS 3.2 and it will crash after typing your name in the highscore list with a "Coprocessor not found" error, but under Mac OS 6.x you can click on "Continue" to resume the computer without any problem. No wonder it took 30 years to uncover this piece of software :P
