What is Mac's Bar?

Mac's Bar lets you find recipe of drinks you can make with given available ingredients.  It was a nice little reference for home Mac amateur bartenders back in the late 80's.

Mac's Bar has two libraries.  One is a list of drink ingredients such as rum, vodka, peppermint schnapps etc.... and the other is a list of drinks.  Mac's Bar supplies you with over 90 drink ingredients and 100 drinks all ready on file.  You can search for drinks either by their name, by a particular ingredient; for instance all drinks that contain rum; and you can search by a list of ingredients.  For example you can tell Mac's Bar what you have available to make drinks with and it will tell you what you can make.
