What is Vintage Macintosh Shareware Games Compilation?

Vintage Apple Macintosh Shareware Games is a collection of shareware and demo games released anywhere from the early 1990's to 2000-ish era for Mac OS 7, 8 and 9. It was put together in fall 2016 using magazine cover CD's distributed in the UK over the classic Mac years. This games compilation was then uploaded to ARCHIVE.ORG in february 2017 by vintageapplemac.com

The vast majority of these games were already on MR, but a very few amount of them weren't. I came to this conclusion after looking for 1 particular software title called Shattered Stone one day and after almost 2 hours exploring the web, I couldn't find it, until I stumbled upon this collection, which is the only place I could ever find that had this game archived in the end. So in order to preserve as much old Mac software as possible, it's best to keep the whole archive as is on here, albeit temporarily until all game files have been looked at one by one...
