iFolders 2.0 - Beige edition
You're perfectly happy to work on your old beige Power Mac. who needs all these fancy translucent colors anyway? You wouldn't leave your good old six-slot machine, or your desktop enclosure, or your integrated subwoofer for the world. And now you can show your solidarity with iFolders.
There are two ways to use this set: either open up the "The Icons" folder and copy-and-paste to your heart's content, as you would with any other icon set, or use a resource editor like ResEdit to open the "Icon Resources" file and paste all the icons into your System Resources file. The latter method will replace all the lavender icons in your system with their iFolder analogues-if you want the old ones back, make a backup copy! (It might also be possible to achieve a similar effect by pasting the icons into an Appearance Theme file. I haven't tried.)
Note: ResEdit and its ilk can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Always edit a copy of the file you want to fool around with. I claim no responsibility for whatever havoc you wreak on your system by using ResEdit to install my icons.
These icons are absolutely 100% free. Use them on your system, your webpages, your CD-ROM distribution, your refrigerator, wherever. Do not alter and re-distribute the set without including a reference to the original artist (me). If you like them, please let me know.
