What is Iconizer?

Iconizer is a nice little freeware icon utility that allows you to instantly turn a picture you have in the clipboard into a folder of icons, all perfectly aligned as if it was the image in background of the folder window.  All individual 32x32 icon is a folder, properly named with space characters so that it looks like items have no name.

Iconizer is one of the icon tools I played with a lot in the mid 90's.  It allowed for so much punch when you opened a folder and it's so simple/quick to use too!

Compatibility notes

Architecture: 68K

At least 1MB of free RAM

Mac OS 7.x

Note: Before launching Iconizer, you must have a picture copied in the Mac OS clipboard (as if you'd copy/paste a picture)

Warning: Iconizer freezes under Mac OS 9.  The best is to use it with System 7 under Basilisk II, it works perfectly fine.

Emulating this? It could probably run under: Basilisk II
