Do you open many windows on your desktop? Is it too much work to rearrange your windows with your mouse? Not anymore! You can use OmegaWindow to rearrange your window with a single keyboard shortcut. Do you often switch from one application to another? You thought that there must be a better way for switching applications. There is! OmegaWindow let you switch from one application to another in many ways with a single keyboard shortcuts.
OmegaWindow is a mouse-free window manipulating and application managing program for Apple® Macintosh™. OmegaWindow provides keyboard shortcuts for things that normally have to be done using the mouse. The heart of the OmegaWindow package is a system extension (OmegaWindow INIT). The package also includes an application for customizing OmegaWindow’s features. Currently OmegaWindow has the following features implemented using keyboard shortcuts:
Application & window Manager
- Support multiple monitors.
- Automatically hide windows belonging to other applications (this feature is suppressed for the default setting).
Application Manager
- Switch from one application to another: allows direct switching to other applications through a pop-up box.
- Switch to the next or previous application.
- Switch to any process out of seven applications without using a pop-up box.
- Switch to Finder™ without using a pop-up box.
- Simulate the system menu: Hide (front application), Hide others, Show All.
- Hide/Show the front-most application.
Window Manager
- Move and resize windows.
- Zoom a window.
- Zoom a window to a full size at Finder™.
- Close one or all of the windows.
- Bring the back-most window to the front.
- Send the front-most window to the back.
- Swap the two front-most windows.
