What is Clock?

Clock is probably the most basic screensaver app you can get: it displays a big B&W digital clock ticking every second.  Clock is a very early Macintosh application, being released in June 2nd, 1984.  The only cool thing about it is that it morphs the digits when they change and also, it seems like it shifts very slightly the clock's position on the screen, possibly avoiding screen burn-in.

Sometimes, Clock seems to bug and displays weird non sense digits when clicking the mouse :P

Clock was written by Steve Capps at Apple in 1984 (and he wrote a version for Xerox too it seems)

Hold the mouse button down for 2 seconds to quit the app.
