What is Third Dimension?

Third Dimension is one of the first strategy Macintosh games, released in 1984 by Think Educational Software.  Third Dimension features 4 boards of 4x4 Tic Tac Toe grids stacked in a 3 dimensional fashion.  You can play against the computer or against a friend.  One of the two players has the X's and the other one has the O's.  Each turn, the next player places his symbol on an empty grid square (any of the 4 grids).  The objective is to make a Tic Tac Toe with a line of 4 consecutive of your symbols while trying to block your opponent from doing the same thing.  In Third Dimension, you can make a line by stacking vertically on all 4 grids which makes winning much harder! (e.g.: every top left corner square on each of the 4 grids)
