What is On-The-Contrary? On-The-Contrary is one of the first games on Macintosh and certainly the first of the memory genre on Mac, dating back to May 25th, 1984, only 4 months after the very first Macintosh was released. In the game On-the-Contrary, each player (up to 4) clicks 2 boxes, unveiling an item (jewelry, tv sets, radios, credit cards, planes, cars, etc...) and if the 2 boxes contents match, the player wins the amount of money the item is worth. Warning tough: don't unveil the bandit or he will steal a bunch of your money, unless you pair it with the detective!

System Requirements From Mac OS 1.0 up to Mac OS 9.2 Compatibility notes Architecture: 68K System 1.0 - Mac OS 9.2.2 Works on ANY Macintosh, but a very slow, non-PPC, CPU is advised, or else the animations will play so fast, you won't see them. See the unofficial On-the-Contrary remake made for PPC hardware, which plays animations using timers and works flawlessly on any Macintosh model running Mac OS 8 or later.
