What is PageSpinner 4.1?

PageSpinner is an easy-to-use web authoring package for Mac OS. The HTML Editor supports HTML 3.2, HTML 4 and XHTML plus additional Netscape and Explorer extensions. Beginners will appreciate the application's extensive help while more advanced web authors will enjoy PageSpinner's many advanced features and additions.

  • The included PageSpinner Guide and the PageSpinner Help for OS X help you to get started working with HTML in PageSpinner together with a comprehensive HTML Assistant that helps you to compose your HTML pages and create JavaScript actions.
  • PageSpinner's text-oriented editor provides quick access to often used formatting and also supports Include files that makes it possible to change the look or contents of a site by editing a single page.
  • The built-in HTML Checker lets you easily check the syntax of the HTML in your pages. 
  • Support for extension plug-ins allows you to download new or updated functions and examples from the net without upgrading the application.
  • PageSpinner is in addition scriptable with AppleScript, making it possible to take a script-driven approach to creating and updating a site. Several scripts that automate tasks and kits for publishing data from popular database applications are included in this package. 
  • PageSpinner also supports Web technologies such as: XHTML 1.0, Cascading Style Sheets, Server Side Includes, PHP, Embedded Objects, Java, and JavaScript.

With its ease-of-use and convenience combined with the many efficient HTML tools and functions, PageSpinner has become the HTML Editor of choice for many Mac users around the globe.
