What is Happy New Year?

Happy New Year is a 8.7KB window that displays a xmas greetings card with animated falling snow and a snowman.  You can read: "To the staff of MacNET and my fellow sysops at Mac Symposium & Health Areas, my wishes for the best new year ever!" - Stu

This is a modified version (1.1) released in december 1986.  The original version was released in december 1984.

Fun fact: You can click in the window to make a line and XY vector data appear from to top/left corner to the mouse position.

Architecture

Motorola 68K

System Requirements

From Mac OS 1.0 up to Mac OS 9.2

Compatibility notes

Architecture: 68K

Mac OS 1.x - Mac OS 9.2.2

Note: The animation runs excessively fast on anything but an original Macintosh 128K, so if you're emulating this, throttle the speed down by a lot.

Emulating this? It could probably run under: Mini vMac
