Emulations for Wyse 50, Wyse 60, Wyse 370, Adds Viewpoint, Televideo 925, DEC VT100 and Prism.
MacWise supports the CommToolBox, which allows connection to networks running Ethernet, Appletalk, TCP/IP and other connection tools written for the CommToolBox; as well as file transfer tools such as Text, Xmodem, Ymodem, ZModem, Kermit and FTP.
MacWise has most of the features of MacToPic Plus except that it does not do Host-To-Mac and Mac-To-Host data transfers. MacWise also does not support the client/server features and AppleScript found in MacToPic Plus. It does however, support CommToolBox data transfers.
To make a connection with TCP/IP you need a telnet tool. A free telnet tool called TGE TCP can be installed in the extensions folder. Then you run MacWise and select Use CommToolBox from the File menu. Then select New Connection from the CommToolBox menu and select the TGE TCP tool and enter the IP address of your host. Then open the connection.
Up to 10 multiple session windows can be open at the same time.
