What is Susan?

SUSAN is played on a hexagonal board with 61 spaces. One player uses white (or light red) stones, the other uses black (or dark blue) stones.

You can play against a friend or against your computer. Use the Options menu to tell your computer to play Black or Uhite, and to tell the conputer opponent to play Casually, Seriously or at Competition level, Then select the Start New Gane option in the File menu, Black always plays first. The Demonstrate option in the File menu lets you sit back and watch your conputer play against itself.

On each turn you may place a stone in any empty space, or slide a stone that you already have on the board. When sliding a stone, you may move it to any neighboring space that is not already occupied. If both players slide three turns in a row, the game is a draw.
