What is Torcher: Arsonist of Evil?

In Torcher: Arsonist of Evil the town of Harrisville in Georgia is struck by a series of level 3 fires. The fire suspects an arsonist is involved as notes are left behind at the crime scene, linking them. The player assumes the role of sergeant Steele, a special agent from the 53rd division investigating arson.

The game is a real-time point-and-click adventure title. It consists of different scenes that can be view in 360 degrees from a first-person perspective with 3D renders. The goal is to gather clues by examining certain parts of the environment. These clues can then be viewed up close for further information. It is possible to move between locations, but movement is limited. The clues need to be found quickly and be put together to catch up with the arsonist before he burns down more buildings.

Certain equipment is also used during the course of the game. There is a nytrocannon, a portable nytrogun and three tanks of explosive chemicals. Locations can contain traps set by the arsonist.
