Cutie Mascot is an application which enables you to easily create interactive animation[s] on your desktop computer. With this software, you can develop a runtime application (a mascot) which animates on your desktop while running other applications, such as word processors, DTP software, spreadsheets, and graphics software.

Main Features

[A] Cutie Mascot [mascot] is 64 by 64 pixels in size. Within this size limitation, you can design and create a mascot to the limits of your own imagination.

You can easily create Mascot data with the painting tools included in the software. It is also possible to use painting data created with your favorite graphics software, by importing PICT, PICS, and Quicktime Movies as Mascot data.

Cutie Mascot includes many useful functions; for example, grouping of movements, setting the frequency of specific animations, sound settings, etc.
 

Cutie Mascot can produce speech and is capable of sound effects via Macintalk Voices if you install Speech Manager and the appropriate Macintalk system extensions. Using a microphone, it can record a sound which can then be utilized in the Mascot.

You can use an Apple event feature embedded in this application to communicate with many other Mascots. This advanced feature is very useful in coordinating Mascot actions. A "balloon" feature is valuable in creating a more expressive and unique Mascot. You can create a more vivid and expressive Mascot by using many of the expression types included, eg. anger, sleepiness, etc. It is possible to create a Mascot which runs independently of the Cutie Mascot Program itself. You simply double-click the Mascot to start it. There are many unique and enjoyable features included in Cutie Mascot. We hope you enjoy it.
