What is Pekka Kana 2 (Pekka the Rooster 2)?

Jump-and-run game originally released for free at the Assembly demo party in Finland, where it won second prize of the game design competition.
Gameplay is somewhat similar to Jazz Jackrabbit, and it has an original soundtrack.

The language selection includes Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, German, English, Spanish, French, Galician, Slovenian, Hungarian, Macedonian, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Savonian dialect (Finnish), Finnish, and Turkish.

The official website has a level editor available (Windows), as well as user-submitted custom maps and extra languages (unclear whether they can be loaded into the Mac version or not, as the site seems to be from a time when a Mac version didn't exist.)
There's also an English user manual that explains how to play.
