Pinball Construction Set (PCS) was one very nice piece of software that let users build their own pinball game, complete with graphics, sound effects, some pre-made widgets and it even features a nice Macintosh like drag and drop user interface, making it very easy to build your pinball set. For software made in 1985, it was quite amazing.
Pinball Construction Set comes with 47 pinball table templates to start from:
PinballConstructionSet-v2.5.sit (597.4 KiB / 611.74 KB)
Pinball Construction Set v2.5 / compressed w/ Stuffit
PCS.sit (337.58 KiB / 345.68 KB)
/ compressed w/ Stuffit
Pinball Construction Set probably only runs on early 68000 Macintosh models such as Mac Plus, SE or Classic under an old Mac OS version. I was not able to make it run under Mini vMac under System 1.1, 4.1 and 6.0.8... BUT the Pinball Player DOES work under all those System versions. I recommmend System 4.1 under Mini vMac with 1X speed.
Emulating this? It should run fine under: Mini vMac
