What is AVI to QT Utility (a.k.a. Vid4Win 2 QT)?

AVI to QT Utility is a small tool that converts .AVI (Microsoft Video for Windows) to .MOV (QuickTime).  This is version 1.0 from 1995.  It comes with the Windows Compressors extension from 1993.

Vid4Win 2 QT looks exactly like the same program except that Microsoft/Vital brands are replaced by G&G Klingsoft Software, released 5 years later, version 1.1 instead of 1.0 but it's still or 68K Macs even tough it was released in 1998.
