What is Rainbox?

Rainbox is an amazing application that lets you exploit the Mac's 8-bit colors palette to its nearly full extent.  Do not overlook its tiny size - only 76KB.  Rainbox allows for an extensive set of creative drawing tools: You can use stamps, pencil shapes with different widths, swirl effects, kaleidoscope mirroring, fake opacity (on/off interleaving) and unleash your imagination.  You can use almost all your screen space to draw and the colors palette will animate and cycle through the 256 colors.  Color schemes include the classic rainbow, random, reds, blues, grays, sunset, arctic and a dozen more.

You think you just read all what Rainbox does? You'd be wrong: When you're proud of your creation, you can export it as a picture file and even better: Rainbox comes with Rainbox Fader which allows you to use any of your Rainbox document as a screensaver module in DarkSide!
